Temporary photographic exhibition on Pierre Loti installed outdoors, in the museum courtyard.

Free 15/20 minute flash tour of the exhibition which traces the life and military career of Pierre Loti through chronological and thematic sections. Portraits taken at different times of his life are placed next to the ships on which he carried out his various missions as a naval officer. This crossing also makes it possible to evoke the technical changes of the Navy in the XNUMXth century and, more specifically, those of the arsenal of Rochefort at this same time, which saw the birth of the travel writer.
