Saint-Jean-de-Liversay is a commune in the south-west of France located in the department of Charente-Maritime (New-Aquitaine region). Its inhabitants are called the Liversois and the Liversoises.

Located 6 km north-west of Courçon, 10 km east of the capital of the canton, Marans, and 25 km north of La Rochelle, the town includes, in addition to the town, the villages of Luché , Normandy, Thairé-le-Fagnoux, Choupeau, Sourdon, and Lapwing.
