Production of saffron in Vouillé-les-Marais (85), as well as condiments and kits to create your cosmetics based on wild plants harvested in the Marais Poitevin.

The plants are sold raw or transformed into products that can be used every day to brighten up your dishes and your taste buds, or to beautify your skin.

In food there are saffron filaments, saffron jelly, saffron mustard, saffron honey, maceron (marsh pepper), maceron mustard, elderflower, and others depending on what Mother Nature offers in abundance.

In cosmetics, you can make oily macerates based on saffron flowers (antioxidant, slows down the aging of the skin), Bellis flowers (tones and firms the skin), Mallow flowers (softening, soothing, antioxidant, moisturizing and refreshing, ideal for dry or damaged skin).

You can find these products on the markets (pink-purple stand), including the Marans market on Tuesday mornings.
