5th International Orchid Exhibition

Discover under the tropical bubble of the Antilles of Jonzac, the 5th international exhibition of Orchids where you will find more than 3 botanical species and hybrids, from all continents, in a tropical setting bathed in light.

Placed under the sign of eco-responsibility, the Gardeners of the Community of Communes of Haute-Saintonge and the "Exotic Orchids" section of the French Society of Orchidophilia Poitou-Charentes-Vendée will have specially decorated the open-air theater of the Antilles in Jonzac on the theme "Avatar" to introduce you to the vast, colorful and fascinating world of orchids, which will still delight all lovers of these beautiful plants.

Internationally renowned orchid growers will advise you and sell many varieties.

Orchidophiles from the SFO-PCV "Exotic Orchids" section will answer your questions and give repotting demonstrations, along with culture advice.
The gardeners of the tropical greenhouse of the Antilles will present their creations of exotic decorations where orchids and typical tropical plants mingle.
Didactic panels will help you get to know this immense family of more than 30 species better.
A bookstore stand run by the SFO-PCV will offer you a large choice of specialized documentation as well as an important iconography on orchids from all over the world but also on those of our regions.
Four lectures on the world of orchids will take place over the two days at 15 p.m. and 16:30 p.m.
