This workshop combines awareness of the local flora and an introduction to the photographic technique of cyanotype. This process, invented in 1842 by the English astronomer John Herschel, makes it possible to produce a blue photographic print, without a camera, using a photosensitive solution. From plants collected on the banks of the Charente and presented by the botanist Jacky Jousson;
the participants, guided by visual artist Anja Madsen Pernot, will experiment with the cyanotype technique to compose their herbarium.
