On a Perched Tree - The Squirrel Hut

Have you ever dreamed of sleeping, perched in a treehouse?
This unusual experience is now possible in Pons, on the magnificent site of the Château d'Usson (Le Château des Enigmes).

Five cabins await you for a magical night, suspended between sky and earth. Our huts are perched between 5 and 11 meters high and can accommodate young and old adventurers alike.

Three "couple" cabins will allow you to spend a romantic night, lulled by the rustling of the leaves. Two "family" cabins accommodate families of up to five people and children from two years old.
The huts are without water but equipped with electricity and dry toilets. In the early morning, your breakfast will be placed at the foot of your tree, and all you have to do is hoist it up to enjoy it on your terrace, while admiring the morning ballet of squirrels.

A sanitary block equipped with a bathroom is accessible 24 hours a day.

An original adventure, in the heart of nature, ideal for strengthening ties, as a couple or as a family!

We offer a hearty picnic basket that will delight young and old alike. All our baskets are prepared by us with a selection of local products

Good plan: entrances to the playgrounds of the Château des Énigmes are at a preferential rate for all our guests in the cabin!

In 2013, the tree houses received the Grand Prix Charente-Maritime du Développement Durable.

The Cabin of the Moussaillons is a treehouse for families perched 5m high on an oak tree over 200 years old. You will easily climb aboard this magnificent pirate ship thanks to a simple wooden staircase. This tree house, straight out of our childhood dreams, can accommodate up to five sailors (little boys from 2 years old)
