For nearly 30 years, Farol has been designing and manufacturing knives in its Rochelais workshops that have a soul, that of the sea.
Each knife is manufactured with attention to detail to make it an exceptional object.
Farol has been labeled a “Living Heritage Company” for its remarkable know-how since 2013.
Each of the manufacturing stages is carried out with passion and high standards in the factory. Woodworking for the handle, steel for the blade and leatherwork for the sheaths.
The historic workshop-boutique is located at the Encan in a former fishmonger's hut in the port fish market, a few steps from the La Rochelle aquarium. The main workshop and its shop are located in the port district of La Pallice.
