It is a preserved natural area of ​​8 hectares, in the heart of the Marais Sauvage, in which you are presented with more than 80 species of birds from the Poitevin marsh, as well as the domestic animals created over the centuries in Poitou. Along the discovery trail, in the shade of the pollard ash trees, you will also learn to recognize the wild plants of the wet marsh. At the end of the visit, a film broadcast on the big screen will take you over the magnificent landscapes of the Marais Poitevin and you will discover, in their intimacy, the birds of this region.
From the park, typical Marais Poitevin boats provide access to the wildest areas of the wet marsh. 1 hour and 1 hour 30 minute circuits are offered to you, with or without a boatman, to discover at your own pace, the most authentic and secret wet marsh of the Marais Poitevin.
