To the east and south, the landscape is made up of a marshy plain made up of alluvial deposits of river origin, regularly flooded by the seasonal flooding of the river.
Locally called meadows, the marshy plains form a particular ecosystem, where brooms abound in particular, frequented among others by European mink, grass snakes and other meadow stonechats.
