Come and discover the documentary “EAST AFRICA – La terre en marche 2,” by Sabina & Jérôme BERGAMI in your Le Palace cinema!

La Terre en Marche, an initiation to travel, a school of life. It is the combination of a unique field experience and an exemplary adventure.
Sabina and Jérôme Bergami's Crossing of East Africa involves 2300 km on foot, Ethiopia, Tanzania, Malawi, Zimbabwe, with their twenty-month-old granddaughter on their back and 40 kg of equipment to tow.

Here is the second opus of these two intrepid adventurers, tireless walkers, launched in 2019 on the millennial axis of the Pan-African. An extreme expedition carried out in total autonomy, Jérôme, Sabina and Enora set off to meet the people and cultures rooted in the East of the African continent. They always carry the earth of the world on their belt, in two leather pouches, and organize earth exchange ceremonies with local populations in villages, in schools, wherever they are welcomed. As they did three years earlier over more than 6000 km along the Silk Road: as a sign of peace between men and respect between our cultures.

In the field videos that they show to the public, and often in response to the numerous questions asked of them, they illustrate the variety of daily life where the unknown, discovery, courage and confidence combine. At the same time journalists, ethnologists, free observers, travelers re-inform the public about the reality of the countries crossed: local customs, water and environmental issues, food, religious rituals, unusual encounters. All this passed through the filter of a couple put to the test, but who emerges from the adventure ever stronger!
