Operetta by Georges BIZET "The Miracle Doctor"

The Aunis Atlantique Community of Communes is pleased to once again welcome the Nouvelle Aquitaine Chamber Orchestra to its territory for a performance of Georges Bizet's operetta, Le Docteur Miracle!

The Nouvelle-Aquitaine Chamber Orchestra is a group which has offered, since its creation in 1981, a specific format of 45 to 50 musicians adapted to the most varied repertoires.

Le Docteur Miracle by Georges Bizet is a comic opera in 1 act with a libretto by Léon Battu and Ludovic Halévy, created at the Bouffes-Parisiens on April 9, 1857. A little gem of music and humor about credulity and vanity!

Here is a remedy that treats apathy, asthmatics and acedics, major sorrows, rheumatism and a whole bunch of other ailments. As long as a few refractory people still doubt its effectiveness, some of the most living people will demonstrate, in a few sung pieces, that one voice makes noise, and that four is just as pretty!
