Basketry workshop for children - Around a strand of wicker

Katherine Lantin, Basketmaker in Marans, invites your children to discover the art of basketry.
The workshop is an opening to local materials that children can find in rural roadside hedges or in their garden.

Braiding activity develops hand and eye coordination, dexterity, sensory awareness and many other functions

During this workshop, the facilitator will take care to direct the children towards exchanges with each other, in order to build their knowledge.
