Hiking tour - in the woods of Benon

Enjoy this shady walk through the Mouchetune stream and the little woods of La Folie.

1. Start with the small shaded road that runs along the wood.
After two bends, turn left, cross the Mouchetune stream. Continue in a cultivation area. Turn right towards the little woods of La Folie.

2. Turn left, then twice right and head due west along several copses. Approach the houses of Gand-Saint-Bibien to the right and follow the D208 for another 200m.

3. Enter the wood of Benon to walk there for 1,5 km.

4. At the Épeau wood fork, turn right again through the undergrowth until you reach the Saint-Jean-d'en-Haut guardhouse. Go along the D208. 50m later, turn left on a forest path towards a place called Les Essards.
Cross the hamlet to the east.

5. Turn left towards the Bois de Fraigneau, cross it on a path which takes the direction of the Grange du Commandeur.
