Corinne and Francis will be delighted to welcome you to their guest house "La Chabanaise" with Charentais blue shutters located in a small village in the countryside between Niort and La Rochelle.
This typical house is built in a park of 6000 m2 with trees and flowers.
A fish pond will delight young and old.
Garden and terrace will enchant you for lounging, listening to the silence of the countryside, birds and squirrels.
Deckchairs are at your disposal to admire the beautiful sunset.

As for its geographical location "La Venise Verte", it is ideal for visiting the Marais Poitevin, sites that your hosts will be able to advise you with culinary journeys such as Saint-Hilaire-La-Palud (10 minutes from our small heaven) :
- the ornithological park with a boat trip
- the Montfaucon pier to discover the fauna and flora accompanied or not by a guide, and the list is long...

The Marais Poitevin called La Venise Verte is a large natural park which extends from Niort in the Deux-Sèvres, to the Baie de l'Aiguillon in the Vendée, taking a short detour through the Charente-Maritime which will allow you to visit La Rochelle , its port and the aquarium without forgetting the island of Ré, the castle and the ramparts of Surgères.

Opportunity to taste upon your arrival a cheese-charcuterie board made only from local products or a local and artisanal fish soup
For the morning awakening, Corinne will enchant you with her jams, homemade yogurts, delicious cakes and breads chosen by her husband.
Possibility to eat on site, we provide you with crockery and microwave oven.

Need to do some last minute shopping, we are 5 minutes from Mauzé -sur-le Mignon with supermarkets, gas station, tobacconist, bakery, pharmacies, hairdressers...

So do not hesitate, come and meet us!
If you want to travel with an electric vehicle, be aware that a fast charging station has recently been installed in our private, enclosed car park: it is possible to reserve the terminal on the e-nergyze application.
